The last few days have seen cuts in the UFC. From last Thursday (7) until last Monday (11), the organization set up a 'barge' and dismissed nine fighters from the squad, including three Brazilian athletes: Mateus Bocão, Daniel Miojo e Claudio Ribeiro. The layoffs were announced on the 'UFC Roster Watch' page, which monitors signings and firings promoted by Ultimate.
Signed through the Contender Series in 2022, Claudio Ribeiro was released after three defeats in four fights in the organization, the last of which was knocked out by Christian Leroy Duncan in the UFC Las Vegas 87.

training partner Charles of the Bronx at Chute Boxe Diego Lima, Mateus Bocão also secured his place in Ultimate on the Contender Series in 22, but did not win any victories in the organization. There were three consecutive defeats, the last of which was a controversial split decision against Jesus Aguilar, UFC Mexico, in February.
Mateus Bocão was not the only Chute Boxe athlete to say goodbye to Ultimate. Daniel Miojo He couldn't resist the streak of six fights without a win in the organization and suffered the same fate as his training partner.
In addition to athletes actually fired from the organization, the list of dismissals also includes the Australian Tyson Peter and the Danish Mark O. Madsen, who recently announced their retirement from the sport.
