Roger Gracie faces former UFC fighter in debut Asian event in December

Brazilian will participate in One FC 23, in the capital of the Philippines, where he will face Englishman James McSweeney

Roger gracie Finally, his debut at the Asian One FC event was confirmed. On December 5th, the multi-time jiu-jitsu world champion will return to the light heavyweight division at an event to be held in the city of Manila, capital of the Philippines.

And the fight will be a duel between former UFC athletes, as Gracie's opponent will be James McSweeney. A participant in TUF 10, the Englishman had a quick stint in the biggest MMA organization in the world, with his last fight in the Octagon being a technical knockout defeat to Fábio Maldonado in the Brazilian's Ultimate debut.

The main fight of One FC 23 will feature the Brazilian Bibiano Fernandes, who will defend the bantamweight belt against the undefeated South Korean Dae Hwan Kim. The event also marks the debut of another UFC veteran, with Brandon Vera facing off against Igor Subora.
