“I believe Volkanovski deserves a rematch for everything he has done in this sport. However, if I were his team or his friend, I would tell him, 'Look, relax. He'll look for another fight to get back on his feet, he'll feel good again, he'll win, and then we'll go after him (Topuria)'. That would be the smartest thing he could do. And again, if I were friends with him, that’s what I would recommend,” Climent said.
With the justification of two consecutive defeats, Topruai's coach said he didn't think it was right for Volkanovski to fight again for the belt at this time.
