after leaving Thales leites, UFC-101 has cut yet another Brazilian athlete from the organization. Black belt Danillo “Índio” Villefort, who was making his debut at the event and was defeated by Jesse Lennox, confirmed his contract termination with Ultimate.
“On Tuesday morning, when I was in the gym watching my teammates train, my manager, Alex Davis, called me and told me the sad news,” Villefort said.
“The UFC told him that I didn't fight well and that they were cutting staff, due to the fact that they had a lot of fighters under contract at the moment,” said Índio.
