He said he was going to make the Brazilian sleep cold, but it ended up being the end of the night. Bernardo Sopai, Swedish fighter who debuted in UFC Las Vegas 87, last Saturday (2), had a disastrous performance and was brutally knocked out by Vinícius Lokdog (see here), who was also having his first fight in the organization.
Sopai, who had three consecutive victories on the European circuit, was not intimidated by his opponent and provoked him at the official weigh-in, on Friday (1). He faced Lokdog and said: “Tomorrow I’m going to f*** you. I'll make you sleep cold. Remember this".

The next day, in the octagon of the UFC Apex, in Las Vegas, the story was very different. Lokdog, who specializes in Muay Thai, landed several hard blows on Sopai, who was unable to defend himself or react.
At the end of the third round, the gaucho delivered an impressive flying knee that caught the Swede squarely in the chin, who fell unconscious to the canvas. The referee stopped the fight immediately and declared a knockout.
It was Sopai's third defeat in professional MMA, in 14 fights, and Lokdog's 20th victory, in 23 fights. The Brazilian also received a US$50 bonus for “Performance of the Night” and was nominated for “Knockout of the Year”.
The Swede, in turn, in addition to suffering the possible 'Knockout of the Year', had to swallow his words and deal with the karma of having promised something he didn't keep.
