Cris Cyborg fights for Strikeforce belt tonight

The most anticipated fight in the history of women's MMA takes place today. American Gina Carano and Brazilian Cris “Cyborg” face each other tonight in California for the Strikeforce under-65kg belt, and to mark their name in the recent history of women's MMA. During the weigh-in held yesterday, the athletes made their weight without any major problems and changed their traditional gaze after stepping on the scale.

In addition to Cyborg, two other Brazilians will be in action on the show. Light heavyweight Renato “Babalu” Sobral will defend the light heavyweight belt against the Armenian Gegard Mousasi, in the fight that was expected to take place in the third edition of Affliction.
