End of training, now it's time to focus on the fight and think only about the opponent. On the afternoon of this Friday (09), the welterweight (up to 77,1kg) ended his training camp for the UFC 298. The Irish prospect released a record on his Instagram with Brazilian team Chute Boxe Charles of the Bronx, and thanked the team for their support during the preparation.

“Last training before fight week… Brazil, thank you. Kick Boxing, Thank you. The passion you have, I will take with me to the octagon”, wrote Garry.

In recent months, Garry has been involved in controversy with the gyms where he previously trained. The Irish prospect was even expelled from the 'Team Renegade' team, where the welterweight champion trains Leon edwards and 'Kill Cliff' where names like Shavkat Rakhmonov, Gilbert Durinho e Vincent Luque.

Tenth placed in the welterweight rankings, Ian is undefeated in professional MMA and will be one of the protagonists of the UFC 298, which takes place on February 17th, in Las Vegas (USA). The Irish star will face the North American veteran Geoff neal on the main card of the show.
