Confirmed as an opponent of Robert whittaker No. UFC 298, Paulo borrachinha shared an unusual and frightening petition not to leave the fight against the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg.). On social media, the Brazilian published an image in which fans ask to 'kill' him if the clash is canceled for the second time.

“Petition to kill Paulo Costa (Borrachinha), if he leaves the UFC 298”, says the text published by Borrachinha, on his profile on Instagram.

The fight between Paulo and Whittaker was in the UFC's plans on two occasions. In 2021, the athletes had a confirmed clash, but Borrachinha ended up leaving the clash for health reasons.

In 2022, Ultimate made the confrontation official for the second time. The Brazilian, however, denied having signed the contract and the challenge was once again discarded.

No UFC 298, the fight must finally happen. If there are no unforeseen events, the fighters will measure up in the octagon and the winner will move closer to a title fight in the category.
