Dana White reveals probable date for fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler in UFC

The most anticipated fight of the year still doesn't have a date to take place. The president of UFC, Dana White, stated that it could be at least another six months before fight fans see Conor McGregor e Michael chandler face each other in the octagon.

The clash between the two lightweights has been planned for over a year, but faces several obstacles. Dana revealed, in an interview with “The Pat McAfee Show”, on Wednesday (07/02), that there is no concrete forecast for the fight. He also denied rumors that the fight would take place on June 29, in Las Vegas, according to announced by Conor on your social networks.

“Eventually, hopefully this year. There is no date. Hopefully (we can) do it in the fall,” Dana White said.

The expectation is that the fight between McGregor and Chandler will be one of the most profitable in UFC history, both due to the popularity of the fighters and the rivalry between them. The two have already exchanged several provocations and challenges on social media, increasing fans' anxiety.

Autumn in the United States, cited by White as one of the ways for the fight to be carried out, occurs between the months of September and November.

McGregor vs. Chandler

McGregor, former two-division UFC champion, has been away from the sport since July 2021, when he fractured his leg while facing Dustin poirier in trilogy. The Irishman, known for his provocations and controversies, has a record of 22 wins and six losses in his career.
