“UFC Spain will happen in 2024. I don’t know when. At the end of the year, perhaps. I hope this happens in Madrid, at the Real Madrid stadium. It will be one of the biggest ticket sales in UFC history. Maybe it will be my first title defense or the fight against McGregor. The category doesn’t matter,” said Topuria.

Number three in the featherweight rankings, Topuria is undefeated in professional MMA with 17 victories, six of which were wearing Ultimate gloves.

Before the possible confrontation with Conor McGregor, Topuria will face, on February 17th, the most difficult challenge of his career. The Spanish prospect will face the champion Alexander Volkanovsky, owner of the featherweight belt since December 2019.
