Two of the main names in the middleweight category (up to 83,9kg) of Ultimate, Paulo borrachinha Costa and the Robert whittaker face each other on February 17th, in Anaheim, California, for the UFC 298. The fighters, who are looking for a new chance to compete for the division's belt, are in excellent physical shape and shared images of their training and their toned bodies on social media.

Borrachinha, who has a record of 14 wins and two losses, did not play last year and made his last appearance in June 2022, when he beat Luke Rockhold in the unanimous decision of the judges. The Minas Gerais native, who is sixth in the category's ranking, hopes to win again and get closer to a new opportunity to fight for the belt.
Whittaker, in turn, has a history of 23 positive results and six negative results, and was already the middleweight champion, between 2017 and 2019, when he lost the title to Adesanya. The Australian, who is third in the rankings, is coming off a surprising defeat to Dricus Du Plessis, which cost him the chance for a rematch with the current champion.

The duel between Borrachinha and Whittaker promises to be one of the most exciting of the year, as both fighters are known for their aggressive and knockout style.
