Daniel Sarafian returns to middleweight and faces Dan Miller at UFC Barueri

TUF Brazil 1 finalist had a quick, and unsuccessful, stint in the under-77kg category and is now seeking rehabilitation in the old division

Submitted by Kiichi Kunimoto on June 14th in his debut in the welterweight category, the TUF Brasil 1 finalist Daniel sarafian reevaluated the decision to move down a category and is back at middleweight. Sarafian's return to the division with a weight limit of up to 84 kg will take place at UFC Fight Night 58, in Barueri (SP), against the North American Dan Miller.

At 32, Daniel sarafian has a record of eight wins and five losses. Qualified for the finals of TUF Brasil 1, the São Paulo native ended up being left out of the big decision due to an injury. When he finally made his Octagon debut, Sarafian was unable to establish himself well and lost three of his four fights.

Your opponent, Dan Miller, is a UFC veteran. With the organization since 2008, Miller has struggled with injuries in recent years and hasn't fought since March of last year, when he was defeated by Jordan Mein. In his career, “Deadly”, as he is known, has a record of 14 wins, seven losses and one unsuccessful fight. Dan is the brother of fellow Ultimate fighter Jim Miller, which operates in the lightweight category.

UFC Fight Night 58 takes place on December 20th, at Ginásio José Correa, in Barueri (SP). In the main fight of the night, Lyoto Machida faces CB Dollaway, in a duel valid for the middleweight division. In the co-main event of the night, former bantamweight champion Renan Barao faces Canadian Mitch Gagnon.
