With Zingano cat practically confirmed as the next challenger for the title of the women's bantamweight category, the division's main athletes must remain active to continue hot on the champion's heels Ronda Rousey and his belt. To this end, the North American Miesha Tate already seems to have decided who he wants to face next: the Brazilian Beth Pitbull. In an interview, Miesha praised the Paraíba native and proposed a duel between them.

“She (Bethe) is doing great and she's not afraid to get into a fight. She is undefeated and has an exciting fighting style. The last two opponents I beat just wanted to grab me and take me to the ground. They didn't want to exchange punches with me at all. This is not fun for me. I like people who stand up and fight. I think the Bethe Correia She’s a complete fighter and we could win Fight of the Night,” Tate told the “Ask Men” website.

A few hours later, upon learning of the challenge proposed by Miesha, it was Bethe's turn to speak out and be in favor of the fight. “Everyone knows that I want to be the champion. And fighting the champion is something I've been looking for, something I've been working to achieve. I have no idea why Tate decided to come up with this story. But everyone knows me and knows what I'm like, I never back down from a fight, I'm Bethe Correia. I never run from a challenge. Whoever is challenging me better be wearing a good mouthguard, because I will respond in the Octagon with punches straight to your mouth,” the Brazilian told the website of the North American channel “FOX Sports”.

At 31, Beth Pitbull has a record of nine wins in nine fights. The Brazilian debuted in the UFC in December last year, won three consecutive victories and became the number one rival of the “Four Horsewomen” group, led by the champion Ronda Rousey. Already Miesha Tate, 28 years old, has a record of 15 wins and five losses. “Cupcake”, as she is known, is a former champion of the women's bantamweight category of the now defunct Strikeforce and currently occupies second place in the Ultimate rankings.
