Nobody can deny that Conor McGregor has ambitious plans for his MMA career. The Irishman, who is coming off four resounding victories within the UFC, has already outlined his goals for next year, and this possibly includes two title fights in the biggest organization on the planet.

McGregor stated that he intends to win the belt in his current category, the featherweights, at the beginning of 2015, and then defend it in a stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Afterwards, the destination would be the top category, the lightweights. “I jumped the queue and now I am a challenger for the world title, the number one challenger. My next fight will probably be for the title. After that, no one will catch me anymore”, said McGregor, in an interview with the Irish website “SevereMMA”.

“I'm going to win the belt, maybe defend it at the Aviva stadium and I'm going to fight for the lightweight belt. After that, who knows? That's definitely in my plans, so you better believe it. I'll win the title possibly in January or February in Las Vegas and then I'll defend the belt in June or July”, said the athlete, who doesn't see himself fighting in the 66 kg category for a long time. “I'm only 26 years old and I'm not going to spend my whole life beating featherweight. Cutting is difficult – I can do it professionally, but it’s tough.”

McGregor has not yet confirmed his next fight in the UFC. However, outside the octagon, the fighter has a commitment on October 25th, at UFC 179, when he will closely follow the fight between José Aldo e Chad Mendes for the featherweight category belt in Rio de Janeiro.
