Victim of the fastest knockout in the history of the UFC, Ben Askren shows that he lives, to this day, with the expectation of seeking revenge for the episode starring Jorge masvidal. Retired from MMA since 2019, the American was willing to put on the gloves again and hold a rematch with his compatriot if Dana White wishes.
“Listen, okay, I'm going to make a statement now. If Dana calls me and says, 'Ben, Jorge masvidal, UFC 300, International (Fight Week)', I don't give a fuck, I'm out of retirement. I'll fight him, I don't care. But he'll never say yes to that unless he maybe loses some more money or something. But it would be great,” said Askren on the podcast 'Funky & the Champ'.

Finally, Ben stated that he will not pursue the opportunity, but reinforced that he is willing to perform in the historic edition scheduled for April 13th.
“It’s one of those things. I don't want to beg and hope for this. I mean, it's unlikely to happen. So, it's like, if someone calls me and says it's going to happen, okay, I'm there. If that doesn't happen, I'll just live my life. I'm ready, I stay in shape, I do a lot of wrestling. I'm in good shape. Does he want to fight? Great, but I’m not going to campaign for that”, he concluded.
At 39 years old, Ben Askren has 19 wins and two losses in his career. Former One Championship champion, the athlete had a quick stint in Ultimate and performed three times, only triumphing once.
