Two of the biggest stars in world sport met last Saturday (23/12) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to watch the Boxing match between Joseph Parkers and Deontay Wilder. Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al-Nassr, had fun together and shared moments of relaxation and mutual admiration.

McGregor and Ronaldo arrived at the event almost together. While they were looking for their seats, the Irishman commented that the ring was “too small”, surprising the Portuguese. Already sitting side by side, the two were caught laughing, while the fighter told his stories and proposed a “dispute” over who had the most luxurious watch.

The Portuguese also recorded the meeting on his social networks, posting a photo alongside the Irishman and praising the event.

“Taking the sport to a completely new dimension. Unparalleled vision and execution. I can’t stop being amazed,” wrote Ronaldo, who has more than 615 million followers on Instagram.

McGregor, who already ventured into boxing in 2017, when he lost to Floyd Mayweather, took the opportunity to challenge another champion of the noble art: Manny Pacquiao. The Irishman said he wants to face the Filipino in 2024, in a fight that would be “the biggest in history”.

CR7, in turn, is preparing to return to the pitch with Al-Nassr, who is second in the Saudi Championship with 40 points. The team's next game will be on December 26th, against Al-Ittihad, in the 18th round of the competition. The Portuguese is the tournament's top scorer, with 17 goals in 16 matches.
