The soap opera involving the next fight of Paulo borrachinha in Ultimate it finally came to an end. In anúncio held on social media last Thursday night (21), the president of the organization Dana White confirmed that the Brazilian will face the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) Robert whittaker No. UFC 298, an event that takes place on February 17th in the city of Anaheim, California, in the United States.
The duel against Robert whittaker will mark the return of Paulo borrachinha after more than a year away from the octagon. The Brazilian's last fight, who currently occupies sixth place in the middleweight rankings, took place in August 2022, when he beat the former champion of the category Luke Rockhold in the unanimous decision of the judges, in the UFC 278.
