Holly holm, former world boxing champion and considered one of the great promises of the women's bantamweight division, finally made her first commitment inside the UFC octagon official. It will be on December 6th, at UFC 181, when she will face Rachel Pennington, 14a placed in the official ranking of the category.
At 32 years old, Holm has a record of seven wins (with six knockouts) and no losses in professional MMA. In boxing, where he competed professionally from 2002 to 2013, he has 33 wins, two losses and three draws. She currently trains at Jackson’s MMA gym, alongside names like Jon Jones e alistair overeem.
Pennington has a more discreet record in MMA, with four wins and four losses. In the UFC, he beat Roxanne Modafferi in his debut, but then lost to the Brazilian Jessica Andrade.
UFC 181, which will take place in Las Vegas (USA), will feature two title fights: Anthony Pettis defends the lightweight title against Gilbert Melendez, and, in the main fight of the night, John hendricks e Robbie Lawler duel for the welterweight belt.
