Recent target of new criticism from Ronda Rousey and identified as the biggest threat to the hegemony of the UFC champion, the Brazilian Chris Cyborg is quite confident in its abilities against its rival. In an interview, Cyborg recalled his jiu-jitsu titles and assured that despite his knockout style he is capable of submitting Ronda.

“I like fighting on the feet and I'm not going to say that I'm going to want to take down Ronda. There are people who think I don't have jiu-jitsu, because I'm a knockout artist. But people forget that I'm a two-time jiu-jitsu world champion as a purple belt and got my brown belt a year later. I’m going to knock Ronda out, but if I have the opportunity to finish her, I’ll do it”, declared the Curitiba native to “Submission Radio”.

At 29 years old, Cristiane Justino has a professional record of 12 wins, one loss and one unsuccessful fight. Cris “Cyborg”, as she is known, was the featherweight champion of the now-defunct Strikeforce and is the current holder of the 66 kg belt at the Invicta FC event. In December, the Brazilian will debut in the bantamweight category, the same as Ronda Rousey, against an opponent yet to be defined.
