Benson Henderson's days in the lightweight division are coming to an end. The trainer of the former UFC champion, John Crouch, told the program “UFC Tonight”, on the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”, that the fighter intends to have just one more fight in the under-70 kg division, since, after , plans to move up to welterweight (up to 77 kg).

According to Crouch, Henderson has been less patient with the weight loss process. “He would like to see what it feels like to not cut weight. The cut is irritating him”, said the coach. The reason for Henderson to have one more fight at lightweight, and not move up a category immediately, is the fact that he is coming off a defeat to Rafael dos Anjos – he wants to change divisions with a victory under his belt.
