Recovered from injury, Gilbert Durinho sets deadline to return to the octagon and names ideal opponent

After injuring his shoulder in the defeat to Belal Muhammad, Durinho predicts a return in 'March or April' and targets Colby Covington

After an insane start to the year, with three fights in five months, Gilbert Durinho was forced to stay away from the octagon due to a shoulder injury suffered during the defeat to Belal Muhammad |, in May, but already has plans to return to action.

In an interview with the North American website 'TMZ', Durinho said he had recovered from the injury and pointed to March or April as likely dates for his return.

“I am released. Painless. The shoulder is moving well. Full range of motion is back. Strength too. I'd say I'll be ready for March or April, UFC 299 ou UFC 300”, said the Brazilian.

In addition to the time of year, Gilbert Durinho He also has in mind who he would like his next opponent to be: Colby covington. The North American takes action against the champion Leon edwards for the welterweight belt (up to 77,1kg) in UFC 296, in December, but, in the Brazilian's opinion, he should not emerge victorious.
