For the first time, UFC, Bellator and WSOF will promote events on the same day

November 15th promises to be a day of great joy, but also a lot of indecision for MMA fans. This is because, on that date, the three biggest organizations today – UFC, Bellator and WSOF – will promote simultaneous events, something unprecedented to date. Confirmation of the trio of cards came this Tuesday (23), when the World Series of Fighting announced that it has changed the schedule of its 15th edition to the same day as UFC 180 and Bellator 131.

The information about the new date for WSOF 15 was confirmed by the organization's vice president Ali Abdel-Aziz, in an interview with the “MMA Fighting” website. The event will be headlined by a middleweight belt fight between champion David Branch and the Japanese challenger Yushin Okami, longtime Ultimate veteran. The location of the fight night has not yet been defined by the tournament management.

Still on November 15th, but in San Diego, in the North American state of California, UFC Hall of Fame member and TUF 1 finalist Stefan Bonnar debuts in Ultimate's great rival against none other than Tito Ortiz. The duel is the main event of Bellator 131, which also features a lightweight title fight between Will Brooks and Michael chandler as co-main event.

On the same date, but in Mexico City, the most famous Octagon on the planet will land for the first time on Mexican soil with UFC 180. The event marks the finals of TUF Latin America and will feature the heavyweight belt fight as its main event. among the edition's coaches: the champion Cain Velazquez and the Brazilian challenger Fabricio Werdum.
