Michael “Venom” Page, who became famous for his unconventional fighting style and spectacular knockouts, is eyeing a new challenge in his career. After becoming a free agent this year, he has been dropping hints that he could sign with the UFC.
With a record of 21 wins and just two losses, MVP was one of the main names in Bellator, where he challenged for the welterweight belt in May 2022, but ended up being defeated by Logan storley.

However, Bellator's future became uncertain after the merger with the PFL, another MMA organization that has a regular season and playoffs format as its distinguishing feature, in addition to rewarding champions with one million dollars each.
The merger, which was announced last Monday (20/11), aims to strengthen the roster and competitiveness of the two companies, which face competition from the UFC and ONE Championship.
Is Michael Page going to UFC?
Michael Page, however, appears not to be interested in being part of the new company. In an Instagram post, he thanked Bellator for the good memories and toasted his next chapter. Although he did not mention the UFC, there are rumors that he is in negotiations with the organization chaired by Dana White, who has already praised the English fighter.
“ Here’s to both of us moving on to the next chapter. Thank you Bellator for great memories,” MVP wrote on Instagram.
In October, Page attended the UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi, where he allegedly met White. He also shared a photo of the two on social media, increasing speculation about his possible signing.
If confirmed, MVP's move to the UFC could bring new opportunities and challenges for the fighter, who would have the chance to face some of the best welterweights in the world, such as Kamaru Usman, Colby covington e Jorge masvidal.
