Already preparing to face Chris Weidman at UFC 181, in December, in a fight that will be worth the UFC middleweight belt, Vitor belfort sees itself strengthened by recent events and guarantees that it will enter the fight with full force.

In recent months, the Brazilian has had to give up testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) after its ban, but he is confident that this will not affect his performance against the North American fighter. "You are what you think. I have everything I need, God gave me everything I need. It's already been banned, we don't talk about it anymore. Now it’s time to [look] from now on,” said the veteran, in an interview with the UFC’s official website.

Belfort minimized the recent controversies involving his physical form, ensuring that you don't worry about the fact. “I know a lot of people wonder 'what's going on? Has he lost weight? Now he's strong again, what is he doing?'. People get worried. While people are living the 'outside', I am living what is inside”, he philosophized.

Despite considering TRT something necessary, Belfort admits that he did not like using the practice. “It’s a hormone that I don’t produce. The guy who has diabetes didn't choose to have diabetes. [TRT] It wasn't something I loved doing – I didn't like doing it, but it was necessary, I was a doctor. But even so, my mind is very strong, my concentration, my dedication to training,” he said.
