Rafael dos Anjos gains two positions in the UFC rankings after knockout against Henderson

Another Brazilian to win last Saturday (23), Thales Leites climbed the middleweight division list

The quick victory against Ben henderson last Saturday (23), at UFC Fight Night 49, yielded good results for Rafael dos Anjos. The Brazilian, previously ranked fifth in the official ranking of the UFC's lightweight division, jumped to third place on the list, behind only Gilbert Melendez, first, and Khabib Nurmagomedov, the second. The category champion is Anthony Pettis.

Henderson, in turn, fell in the rankings after suffering the first knockout of his career. Occupying the first position on the list until last week, “Smooth” fell to fourth place, still ahead of Donald Cerrone, the fifth.

Another Brazilian to stand out last Saturday, Thales leites continues to climb the pack among middleweights. The fighter from the Nova União academy gained three positions and now occupies 12th place on the list after knocking out Francis Carmont.
