Thiago Tavares wins 'Performance of the Night' award at UFC Fight Night 47

The featherweight debut couldn't be better for Thiago tavares. This Saturday (17), in addition to achieving a comfortable victory over the American Robbie Peralta, the Santa Catarina native received one of the UFC Fight Night 47 performance bonuses for his dominant performance and submission in the first round. For the prize, Thiago took home US$50 (around R$113).

In addition to Thiago, North American Tim Boetsch also received the “Performance of the Night” award. Playing at home, the Maine-born middleweight recovered after a difficult start against Brad Tavares and managed to knock out his rival in the second round.

In addition to the duo, there were also two other fighters awarded on the night. For the organization, Seth Baczynski and Alan Jouban, who dueled on the main card, starred in the “Fight of the Night” and therefore also took home US$50 each.
