Even though he maintains the respect of those who have already shared the octagon with Francis Ngannou, the brazilian junior gypsy minimized the Cameroonian's chances in the boxing duel against Tyson Fury. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) said that his former tormentor has no chance against the legend of the noble art and predicted a long night for the 'Predator' on October 28th.

“Obviously, I don’t see much chance for Francis Ngannou. In my opinion, he doesn't have boxing, he has power and strength. His punches come unexpectedly and from all angles, you don't know what to expect, and he has a lot of knockout power, as he has long and powerful arms, but I don't see much quality in his boxing,” said Cigano.

Ngannou and Cigano faced each other in June 2019, in the main fight of the UFC Minneapolis. The Cameroonian took no notice of the Brazilian and knocked him out just over a minute into the fight.

After breaking his contract with Ultimate, Ngannou signed with PFL but before making his debut in his new home, the Cameroonian will fulfill his dream of playing in a professional boxing fight. The 'Predator' will measure forces against the legend of the noble art Tyson Fury, in a clash that will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
