After a light training session, the two decided to take part in a grappling challenge, in which the owner of the UFC featherweight belt would try to submit the NBA champion within a minute.
A well-known fan of MMA and present at several UFC events, Jamal Murray showed that he is no fool and did well in the initial moments of the challenge, until giving way to Volkanovski. With little time to lock in a rear naked choke, the Australian gave up the position and followed up with a guillotine choke, but the Denver Nuggets star held out until the end of 60 seconds, being declared the winner of the event.
