“It was a good victory. Whenever you step into the octagon and win, it's good. It was the first time Matt Brown faced someone from the top 10, but he did a good job. It was a tough fight, back and forth – some rounds were close, but I thought Robbie won. So now we're going to do the rematch, and I'm excited about it. It will be cool to fight being healthy, with both arms”, said Hendricks, in an interview with the podcast “The MMA Hour”, referring to the injury he suffered to his biceps at the beginning of the year.

“My arm is almost fine. I'm lifting 45 pounds, my arm is almost 100%, and I still have a few weeks of recovery left. When I go to the doctor in a few weeks, he will be very happy”, explained the champion.

Not only that, but that was my first five-round fight. I'm getting smarter, getting better every time I'm in the Octagon. I don’t want to disparage GSP, he did a lot of great things for the sport and the welterweight division, but I want to build my own legacy,” he declared.
