Aware of the Irish's possible clash against Michael chandler, the Kazakh highlighted similarity with the North American and was pessimistic when talking about the dangers that the 'Notorious' could pose to the former challenger for the lightweight belt (under 70,3kg).
“Michael and I have the same problem, because he also has to control his emotions in the fight. He has to control. I think if he starts controlling his emotions, just following the game plan, he will beat Conor, because Conor, he lost focus. He's not the Conor he was six years ago, five years ago. He's not the same Conor. He just has to stay smart, he has to stay calm, and I think Michael can win this fight easily just because Conor lost focus,” Fiziev told 'MMA Fighting'.

When analyzing the Irishman's return, Fiziev judged the attitude as 'crazy'.
“For me it’s like, it’s crazy. This guy, he's a superstar, and because he's a superstar, he does whatever he wants, he doesn't need this fight. Now, he fights just for fun, just to stay active. It's still this crazy situation because how come USADA isn't testing it? He’s a lightweight fighter and you don’t test him,” he concluded.

Pending an official announcement, McGregor is preparing for a triumphant return to the Octagon. According to Dana White, the expectation is that the Irishman will perform in 2024.
