In the midst of so many fights in MMA and a successful stint in the UFC, Junior Gypsy opened the game and revealed which opponent beat him the hardest to date. Present in clashes against specialists from different martial arts, the Brazilian left rivalry aside and highlighted his power of Stipe Miocic. According to the former Ultimate champion, the Croatian has great power in his punch.
“In my career, I think the one that hit me the hardest was Miocic, who I was (still) aware of. The others, I slept. I think he brings great danger to Jon Jones. And we don't need to talk about Jon Jones, he’s incredible,” said Cigano in an interview with the podcast 'Frank Exchange'.

In the first meeting, in 2014, the Brazilian had a dominant performance and defeated the Croatian by the judges' decision. Three years later and at different stages in his career, Miocic achieved his fifth consecutive knockout by defeating his rival in the first round.
In preparation for his return to the octagon, Stipe presents himself after two years of inactivity and seeks to regain the heavyweight belt in a duel against Jon Jones. Athletes star UFC 295, on November 11, at Madison Square Garden, New York (USA).
