If the weather between Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier had already caught fire shortly after the announcement that the former Strikeforce GP champion would be the new challenger for the light heavyweight belt, with exchanges of messages and attacks on social media, the rivalry has now extended to the family sphere. On your official profile on Instagram, Jones released an image of his daughter Leah, just six years old, sending a direct and unfriendly message to Cormier.

“DC, my dad is going to beat you up. I guarantee it”, said the little girl to her father’s rival. However, it wasn't just Jones' heiress who spoke out regarding her father's next fight. In your profile on Twitter, UFC president Dana White revealed that when calling Cormier it was possible to hear the challenger's daughter in the background shouting “my father is going to be champion, my father is going to be champion!”.
