After disappointing and suffering the first defeat of his career in early 2023, Raúl Rosas Jr.. turned things around in style. Featured in Night UFC, held this Saturday (16), in Las Vegas (USA), the Mexican put on a show in front of his fans and accepted the open fight against Terrence Mitchell. Precise and aggressive, the 18-year-old overcame his rival with an overwhelming lightning knockout in the first minute of the clash.
With the victory, Rosas resumes his climb towards the top of the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg). Now, the fighter has eight positive results in nine fights.
Raul's victim, Mitchell had the warning signal turned on. The athlete, who paid the price for his aggressive style, continues without triumphs in the company. Today, the North American has two setbacks in the company.
The fight began with Mitchell taking the initiative with a high kick, which exploded at the Mexican's base. Rosas responded with a straight shot and shook his opponent. The confrontation was frank and the fighters were looking for a fast-track outcome. With a clean right, Raul took his opponent to the canvas. The Mexican attacked and began massacring with ground and pound. Noticing Mitchell's condition, the referee chose to interrupt the clash.
