Last Saturday (05), Chris Weidman hit Lyoto Machida by unanimous decision of the judges and defended the middleweight belt for the second time. After the triumph, achieved in the main fight of UFC 175, the champion of the under-84 kg division met with the member of Hall of Fame Chuck Liddell. Weidman used his official profile on Instagram to record the meeting and celebrate the chance to be with the legendary light heavyweight, considered one of his great idols.

“Great to see Chuck Lidell last night. One of the big reasons I got into this sport was to watch him perform”, wrote the North American, along with the photograph next to the “Ice Man”. Member of Hall of Fame as of July 11, 2011, Chuck Liddell retired with a professional record of 21 wins and eight losses. Protagonist of historical rivalries against Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture, Liddell was one of the UFC's biggest stars of the last decade.
