Featured in the top 15 strawweights (up to 52,1kg.) and flies (up to 56,7kg.) of the UFC, Amanda ribas extended his link with the organization. In a video released by 'MMA Hoje', the Minas Gerais native confirmed the contract renewal for six more commitments at the company. The page also reported a confrontation against Luana pinheiro for November 18rd.

“I just arrived from Colombia with some very 'massive' news. I renewed my contract with the UFC for another six fights. So, I'm very happy. With these fights, I can show that, from here in Varginha (MG), we can, indeed, conquer the world”, said the Minas Gerais native.

Representative of the company since 2019, Ribas also has a new challenge ahead. On November 18, in the city of Las Vegas (USA), the athlete will face off against her compatriot Luana pinheiro, competing for position in the top 15 of the straws.

After three consecutive commitments in the flyweight division, Amanda returns to the category in which she began her career in the UFC. In her last fight in the division, the Minas Gerais woman overcame Virna jandiroba in the judges' decision.

Ribas' opponent, Luana pinheiro is heading towards the fourth challenge in the company. Undefeated in three challenges, the athlete currently occupies 12th place in the group, while her rival is in 11th.
