Past the great UFC 292, it’s time for our traditional review. This Monday (21), starting at 19:30 pm (Brasília time), our team will analyze the highlights of the event that moved MMA last weekend. Protagonist of the show, Sean O'Malley made history by winning the bantamweight belt (under 61,2kg).
After distrust from fans and the specialized press, O'Malley silenced the critics and staged an epic moment in the Octagon. Before aljamain sterling, the Ultimate student needed just over a round to knock out the then champion and claim the group title.
In the co-main fight, Weili Zhang threw a real bucket of cold water on the Brazilian fans. Before Amanda lemos, the Chinese had a dominant performance and defeated the Pará native for five rounds, retaining the strawweight belt (under 52,1kg).
In addition to Lemos, four more Brazilians entered the octagon in the UFC 292. Peter Munhoz, Gregory Robocop, Natalia Silva e Karina Silva were highlights of the event.
