A fight that also promises excitement in the fourth edition of WOCS will have Luis Besouro in action. One of the talents revealed by RFT, Besouro had difficulty with injuries. Thanks to them, he suffered the only defeats in his record (7w-2d-1e) and has been out of action practically since September 2007, since in a presentation in 2008, at Jungle Fight, he was injured in a few seconds.
“I'm training to be the best. I hurt my knee against the Paulo thiago and I didn't fight for a long time. I hope to get through this bad phase now, because of the injuries”, he comments.
Excited about the commitment, Besouro has already studied Viscardi Andrade, your opponent. With the prospect of fighting abroad, he hopes to do a good job inside the ring.
“He seems like a very strong guy. I saw some of his fights and he showed that he has a good right hand and good takedowns. Some opportunities to fight out there have already hit the post and, at some point, a goal happens. So I hope to show my best at WOCS, which is a nationally renowned event”, he concluded.
In addition, WOCS will also bring a women's fight, which will feature the representative of Nova União Claudia Gadelha, three-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion and with two wins in MMA. Willian Viana broke his hand and left the card. Therefore, Paulo Bananada will face Francis Guildi.
WOCS takes place on June 25th, at Clube Oásis, in Barra da Tijuca. Tickets are on sale at a 50% discount with the presentation of a student ID card or promotional flyer, which will be easily found. The VIP area, with an open buffet, costs R$180 (R$90 half) and the ticket is a shirt (mandatory to wear). The common chair will be sold for R$80 (R$40 half). Grandstand tickets are almost sold out.
