Arlovski: “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger”

After the devastating defeat suffered by Brett Rogers, at Strikeforce, held last Saturday, former UFC heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski analyzed its loss on its official website. Pitbull assumed a certain arrogance to face an unknown opponent and, according to him, he paid for his mistake.

“The defeat bothers me, it hurts me. I have to do something about this. He (Brett Rogers) has a good record, but I thought he wasn't a top player like Fedor or Barnett. This was my mistake and when you make a mistake you end up paying for it”, said Arlovski, who admits to reviewing his strategy for new fights.

“Another thing I have to think about is that MMA is not boxing. I need to change something in my game”, said “Pitbull”.

“Rogers was great, he did what he did. For me it was embarrassing, but what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. I have to move on,” he signed off.
