A night of many surprises in the Strikeforce cage, an event that recently ended in St. Louis, in the United States. In the preliminary fights, the first upset. Coming off a great run of wins at EliteXC, Rafael Feijão took to the ring with broad favoritism against the experienced Mike Kyle, who had been called up on the eve of the fight to replace the injured Jared hamman, but the long period of inactivity took its toll and the Brazilian ended up defeated by technical knockout in the second round.
If the zebra showed up on the preliminary card, in the main fights it couldn't be left out, the former Ultimate heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski was surprised by the undefeated Brett Rogers and was knocked out just 22 seconds into the fight, after an unbelievable sequence of punches.
With so many surprises in the event, the main fight of the night could not fail to have an underdog as the winner. Robbie Lawler, considered by many, as the only middleweight capable of challenging Anderson Silva was not able to defend a fair guillotine fitted by Jake Shields and ended up finished after just over two minutes of fighting.
