Two of the greatest popularity phenomena in UFC history, Charles of the Bronx e Conor McGregor started a 'big dog fight' in the Twitter. After a publication by the Irishman indicating his motivation to continue fighting, the Brazilian decided to needle the 'Notório', who hasn't competed professionally for over two years. The São Paulo native's action provoked the wrath of the former double Ultimate champion.
“Fighting is electric, motivational,” wrote McGregor on his official profile.

Afterwards, Do Bronx didn't miss the opportunity to provoke.
“You haven’t had motivation in over two years,” Charles teased.
With the Brazilian's action, it didn't take long for Conor to retort. Do Bronx's comment angered the MMA star, who responded with a new post, later deleted from the social network.
“Get out of this Lamborghini, you bankrupt. I was recovering from my broken leg, you 'Johnny Nobody'. You’re nobody, again”, said the Irishman.
Lightweight champion between 2021 and 2022, Do Bronx is approaching a new opportunity to reassume the throne of the category. In October, the Brazilian lands in Abu Dhabi, the scene of his setback for Islam makhachev last season in a valid fight for the division title.
Out of action since July 2021, McGregor has spent the last two years recovering from the serious injury suffered in the trilogy against Dustin poirier. One of the biggest names in the history of MMA, the athlete was preparing to return to the octagon in a challenge against Michael chandler still in 2023, but, after failing to comply with the requirements of the United States Anti-Doping Agency, the confrontation remains unknown for the UFC and fans of the sport.
