At the end of the preliminary card of the UFC 291, the Brazilian was not aware of the North American Trevin giles and submitted his rival with just over a minute of fighting, maintaining his unbeaten record in the sport. With his second victory in two fights, Marretinha submits yet another rival in less than two minutes and continues without completing a single round in the most famous octagon in the world. The Brazilian prospect is undefeated in professional MMA with 15 wins.
At 30 years old, Giles sees his streak of two consecutive defeats being broken and now has 16 triumphs and five setbacks as a professional in the sport.
