Alexandre Pantoja has a spectacular performance against Brandon Moreno and wins the flyweight belt at UFC 290

Finally in his first title fight in Ultimate, Pantoja delivered an excellent performance and reinforced the Mexican's 'freguesia' Brandon Moreno. After 25 minutes of a high-level duel in which there was plenty of aggression on both sides, the Brazilian was declared the winner in a unanimous decision by the judges and became the flyweight champion.

The twenty-sixth victory of Pantoja's career was the most important and, together with the belt, crowned the good professional moment experienced by the Brazilian who won his last four engagements in the most famous octagon in the world. The Brazilian athlete now has 26 positive results and five negative results in mixed martial arts.
