Half the year has passed and MMA fans have experienced some historic and memorable moments in the first six months of 2023. With that in mind, the team at SUPER FIGHTS selected the best finishes from the first half of the year. Let's get to the list!

5) Karine Silva x Ketlen Esquentadinha – UFC Las Vegas 74

The first finish to appear on the list was also the most brutal of the first half. 4) Irina Alekseeva x Stephanie Egger – UFC Las Vegas 72

In fourth place, we have another female duel. At the UFC Las Vegas 72, in April, Irina Alekseeva, nicknamed the 'Russian Round', showed her credentials with a beautiful transition to a kneebar against the Swiss Stephanie Egger, still in the first round.

3) Davey Grant x Raphael Assunção – UFC Las Vegas

Opening our podium, we have the presence of a Brazilian, but unfortunately on the wrong side of the finish line. At the UFC Las Vegas, held in March, the veteran Raphael Assunção ended up surprised by a beautiful inverted triangle of davey grant and said goodbye to MMA with defeat.

2) Shavkat Rakhmonov x Geoff Neal – UFC 285

One of the best fights of the semester was also the stage for one of the best finishes of the year so far. In the fourth round of an epic battle, Shavkat Rakhmonov finished Geoff neal with a 'doorman's tie', securing second position on our list.

1) Yair Rodriguez x Josh Emmett – UFC 284

The first place in our ranking belongs to 'Pantera'. In the co-main event of UFC 284, valid for the interim featherweight title (up to 65,7kg), Yair Rodriguez finished Josh Emmett with a fair triangle to take home his first belt from the organization in which he has worked since 2014.
