PFL highlights, four Brazilians fight this Friday and seek to advance to the next stage in a million-dollar tournament

Edition defines semi-finalists in the championship in the lightweight and welterweight divisions; Raush Manfio, Natan Schulte, Bruno Robusto and Carlos Leal try to qualify

Another decisive event. This Friday (23), in Atlanta (USA), another edition of the PFL takes place. In the show, four Brazilians will try to advance to the semifinal stage of the tournament that defines the season's champion, in addition to awarding US$1 million to the winner of each category. The show will determine who will be classified between lightweights (up to 70,3kg) and welterweights (up to 77,1kg).

In the main fight, ex-UFC Olivier Aubin-Mercier will seek to maintain his 100% record in the lightweight tournament. The fighter faces Anthony Romero, a newcomer this season.

Welterweight champion in the 2022 tournament, Sadibou Sy is looking for a double. In the penultimate clash of the show, the fighter faces Shane Mitchell.

Brazil at the event

In the show that defines the semifinalists in the lightweight and welterweight tournament, Brazil could surprise. In total, the country has four representatives.

Among the light ones, Raush Manfio, champion in 2021, is looking for his second title. The fighter, who won in his debut, has the same three points as his opponent and friend, Natan schulte, winner of the tournament in 2018 and 2019.

After beating Ahmed Amir in his debut in the under-70,3kg division championship, Bruno Robusto wants more. This Friday, the Rio native will be Alex Martinez's opponent. The Tupiniquim team has three points, while their rival needs a victory on the fast track to dream of reaching the knockout stage.

Among the welterweights, the Brazilian representative will be Carlos Leal. Rocked by a crush on David Zawada In his debut in 2023, the fighter seeks to advance to the next stage with confidence, when he faces Dilano Taylor, who did not score in the championship.
