The defeat to Sergio Pettis in his attempt to win his third belt with Bellator gloves resulted in an important loss for Patrick Pitbull. A legend of the organization, the fighter ended up being removed from the top of the weight-for-weight rankings. The list lists the company's best athletes, regardless of weight category.

Previously leader of the group, Patrício now occupies second place. The Brazilian was overtaken by Vadim nemkov, pupil of Fedor Emelianenko, who holds the light heavyweight title (up to 93kg.) in the organization.

Pitbull executioner in Bellator 297, Sergio Pettis has something to celebrate. In addition to defending the bantamweight throne (up to 61,2kg.) against the MMA icon, the athlete jumped four positions in the rankings, taking fourth place.

The 'bronze' follows Yaroslav Amosov. Undefeated in MMA, the Ukrainian leads the welterweight category (up to 77,1kg).

Patrício remains relevant to the company

Despite the stumble in his attempt to expand his legacy in MMA, Pitbull remains highly relevant in the company. The Brazilian, who already wore the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg), having abdicated the throne to make room for his brother, Patricky, remains the featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg).
