Amanda Nunes rules out a possible return to MMA, but questions the legitimacy of future UFC champion

Retired since UFC 289, Brazilian guarantees that the next title holder will not be able to consider herself 'number one'

Retired from MMA after the show in front of Irene aldana No. UFC 289, Amanda nunes dared to analyze the future of women's MMA in Ultimate. In a press conference moments after defending the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg), the Brazilian ruled out a possible return to the sport, but made a point of questioning the legitimacy of the future champion.

“I will have my belts at home with me. The new belt will be the fake one. It will be false forever. Whoever wins the belt now will only pretend to wear it. I'm retired. I am fine. I did everything and resolved my life. I thank the UFC. They always took care of me. I'll stick around. I did everything to be the best. I said I would retire with two belts. I was born to do this”, he declared.

A living legend of MMA, Nunes left the sport at the age of 35. Throughout her career in the sport, the Bahian accumulated 23 wins and five defeats.
