The list of participants for the inaugural season of reality show The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America has already been defined. The Mexican website “Indiscutido” revealed the names of the fighters who will participate in the program under the supervision of Cain Velazquez e Fabricio Werdum.
The program will feature representatives from Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Panama, Nicaragua, Chile and Mexico. Contrary to what normally happens in TUF, there will be no choice to define which teams will be: the Mexicans will form Velasquez's team, and the others will be trained by Werdum.
Some fighters on the list, such as Gabriel benitez, Enrique Briones, Yair Rodriguez, José Alberto Quinones and Alexandro Pérez participated in the development program at Greg Jackson's renowned academy, located in the state of New Mexico, in the United States.
Filming began this week, on May 12th, and the program will air in August. The final of the program, as well as the fight between the coaches, valid for the heavyweight belt, will take place on November 15th, in Mexico City.
