Shortly after his defeat against Jon Jones, at UFC 172, at the end of April, Glover Teixeira announced that he would undergo surgery to correct an injury to his right shoulder. However, this Wednesday (14), the fighter received good news: the doctors went back and told him that the operation will not need to be carried out at the moment.
Good news today from the doctor, I won't need surgery on my shoulder at the moment. Thank you all for the support

Teixeira injured his shoulder in the opening moments of the fight against Jones, after the North American applied an unusual key. This resulted in the Brazilian suffering a tear in his labrum, a cartilage tissue whose function is to provide stability to the shoulder.
