Tyson Fury responds to Dana White's invitation to superfight against Jon Jones in the UFC

The controversy involving Tyson Fury e Jon Jones got a new chapter. After being invited by Dana White to star in a super fight with the UFC star, the heavyweight boxing champion responded to the company president. The athlete was against a confrontation under MMA rules.

“If they want to fight me, it will have to be under boxing rules. I don't roll around on the floor. I stand and throw punches”, wrote Fury, in his profile on Instagram.

Holder of the heavyweight belt by the World Boxing Confederation (WBC), Tyson 'bought' a fight with Jon Jones following a speech by commentator Joe Rogan, who claimed that the boxer would be defeated if he were locked in a room with 'Bones'. The opinion was not well received by the Englishman, who began to defend himself via the press and social media.

On the other hand, Jon reigns supreme in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg) of Ultimate. Living legend of MMA, the fighter won the title after resuming his career and debuting in the division with a categorical performance against Cyryl Gane, in early 2023.
