Pezão says he wants to return in September and asks for a fight at the UFC in Brasília

Heavyweight, out of action since the end of last year, used his Twitter profile to express his intention

Away from MMA since December last year, when he was caught with testosterone levels above the permitted level after the draw against Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 33, Antonio Pezão He already knows when he wants to return to the Octagon: next September. The heavyweight, who is still serving a suspension due to the doping episode, used his official profile on Twitter to make the public request to Ultimate and hinted that his intention is to fight in the event to be held in the city of Brasília.

“My birthday is September 14th. What a gift he would get fighting for the Brazilian public”, published Antônio Silva, along with an image of the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium, in Brasília, already reserved by Ultimate between the 1st and 17th of September and which was announced as the stage for an event by the organization on the 13th of the same month.

At 34 years old, Antônio “Pezão” Silva has a record of 18 wins, five losses and one draw. The native of Paraíba is part of the select group of fighters who have already defeated the legendary Fedor Emelianenko. In February 2011, in a fight held at the now-defunct Strikeforce, Pezão beat the Russian by technical knockout, after the referee interrupted the break between the second and third rounds.
